Orkesterns sista rymdvals (The Orchestras Last Space Waltz)  was to be the last of its genre that Sagor & Swing recorded. It appeared on the legendary and extremely rare album Rymdsonden (The Space Probe), which was released in connection with a spectacular space project. Perhaps the orchestra knew when they recorded the waltz that it would be the last, because the melody is one long waving farewell. The Moog melody waves the most, but then both organ and strings come in and wave along, all the while as all sounds fade away and, in the end, nothing is heard anymore.

Kramp was a loud Swedish heavy rock power trio that formed in 1975 and jammed all night long whenever they met in the Slow Riders’ biker club basement. This album features the first time ever release of their recordings. Heavy jams in all their unpolished glory recorded in 1978. Super limited pressing of 250 copies only! Play Loud! Release date September 18.

Slowly, yet with undeniable intensity, she draws near. Every movement is both an invitation and a warning. Mesmerizing and dangerous, the temptress blurs the line between desire and destruction. Once the dance begins, there is no turning back. Composed by Johan Hjalmarsson in inspiration of one of Ìxtahuele’s many journeys across the world. Guest appearance by Jonathan Kronevik on trumpet.

En kärlekssaga med ett nyckfullt slut (A Love Story with a Whimsical Ending) is one of those teasing jazz waltzes that an orchestra records when there’s some extra time in the studio and the string section begins to improvise until everyone is in sync and a melody takes shape. Then the flute player fills in, and the organ finds a phrase to play between the main theme. Luckily, the producer Hans Fürst hadn’t turned off the tape recorder so in this way the peculiar jazz waltz is immortalised

Limited edition 400 copies only! “DIY cosmic disco” from Sweden originally recorded and released as a privately pressed single in 1979 that is now very rare and much in demand. Listen, stream and download SAGOR & SWING – Mitt eget land  now!

Bandcamp /  Spotify  /  Apple Music

Sagor & Swing is back with a warm and dreamy interpretation of Mitt eget land – a tribute to the recently deceased musician Jojje Wadenius. The song originated on the album Goda’ Goda’ from 1969, and carries with it a timeless feeling of childhood, fantasy and inner landscape. The melody is given new life in Sagor & Swing’s version, through an organic and playful soundscape, where classic instruments such as Minimoog, Mellotron and the Korg Minipops Junior rhythm box weave together past and present. The result is both reverent and idiosyncratic – an interpretation that moves freely between the naive and the cosmic, between memory and now. With this release, Sagor & Swing continues to explore their unique expression, where nostalgia, experimentation and melodic beauty meet in a sound world that is as much fairy tale as reality. Mitt eget land is not just a cover song – it is a conversation across time, a quiet bow and a loving journey forward.

All time wasted vortex of polluted psychedelic hard rock from the greasy wasteland of inner-city Jersey. The most wicked manic garage power trio to end them all.

“One of Sweden’s most obscure psychedelic treasures from the late 1960’s. Imagine vintage Cream and Syd Barrett-led Pink Floyd morphing into a primeval Hawkwind sonic brain attack and you’re on the right track. They just may be the most impressive examples of vintage Swedish psychedelia you’re ever likely to hear. ”

Kramp was a band from Hallstahammar and Västerås (in the middle of Sweden) who started out in 1975 and played together until 1984. During those years the boys in the band jammed whenever they met but never released any records. Luckily some marvy unpolished and no-frills rehearsal space recordings from 1978, recorded on a small cassette player, survived and can be heard here in all their unpolished glory.
