Orkesterns sista rymdvals (The Orchestras Last Space Waltz) was to be the last of its genre that Sagor & Swing recorded. It appeared on the legendary and extremely rare album Rymdsonden (The Space Probe), which was released in connection with a spectacular space project. Perhaps the orchestra knew when they recorded the waltz that it would be the last, because the melody is one long waving farewell. The Moog melody waves the most, but then both organ and strings come in and wave along, all the while as all sounds fade away and, in the end, nothing is heard anymore.

Orkesterns sista rymdvals kom att bli det sista i sin genre som Sagor & Swing spelade in. Den förekom på det mytomspunna och ytterst sällsynta albumet Rymdsonden, som gavs ut i samband med ett spektakulärt rymdprojekt. Kanske visste orkestern när de spelade in valsen att den skulle bli den sista, för melodin är ett enda långt vinkande farväl. Moog-melodin vinkar mest, men sen kommer både orgel och stråkar och vinkar med, alltjämt som alla ljud far bort och inget till slut hörs något mera.
