Sagor & Swing is back with a warm and dreamy interpretation of Mitt eget land – a tribute to the recently deceased musician Jojje Wadenius. The song originated on the album Goda’ Goda’ from 1969, and carries with it a timeless feeling of childhood, fantasy and inner landscape. The melody is given new life in Sagor & Swing’s version, through an organic and playful soundscape, where classic instruments such as Minimoog, Mellotron and the Korg Minipops Junior rhythm box weave together past and present. The result is both reverent and idiosyncratic – an interpretation that moves freely between the naive and the cosmic, between memory and now.
