DUNGEN – Tio bitar – Promo (Subliminal Sounds XMLP-SUB19 SW 2007) S/S 1000:-
Rare! What you say…there’s so many copies online…but wait…this is the genuine 1st pressing which actually has a silver foil sleeve. All later pressings only have a grey paper stock simulating the silver foil. Also has unique matrix in the inner groove ending with an “A” on both sides. All later pressings has a “B”. So this was pressed from the freshest stampers for ultimate sound quality…the only fresher stamper was for the test press. Not many of these 1st press promos around. Also comes with the actual Dungen promo silver foil helium balloon with the Dungen logo printed on it. Very few of those made.

BRUCE HAACK – Songbook (Bruce Haack Publishing US 1975) Ex 800:-
Rare.  An amazing illustrated guide to the songs of musician and composer Bruce Haack. This copy was actually bought at his house long ago. Bruce Haack was one of the pioneers of electronic music during the 50’s and 60’s. Prolific composer behind a huge span of wildly creative, from electronic children’s songs to satanic music, as well as being an inventor of weird musical instruments like the Theremin-inspired Magic Wand and the Dermatron, a device that worked off the natural conductivity of the human body.  Bruce Haack robotic songs were a precedent to the work of Synth Pop artists from the 70’s such as Kraftwerk and Gary Numan,  to space rock and electro After his death he became a  patron saint to fans of early electronic and outsider music. The only other copy available now sells for $400 so you can get it for a better price here.

MANDRAKE MEMORIAL – PUZZLE – Promo LP + promo package (Poppy 40.006 US 1970) OFFERS
Yes this is it…the real thing. The ultra-rare promo release for Puzzle. Was only sent out to a few select radio DJs in the US prior to release. Estimated edition; 100 copies only (!). Here’s what it is: A oversized box style cover which is in Vg condition. Since this is over sized and the outer package I think all surviving copies are in VG condition or less.  This unique outer cover opens up in the middle. On the flaps are printed a text and photo on the mandrake on one side and on the other flap is Eschers text on the trilobite. Inside is a promo copy of the album. It has the regular gatefold sleeve but it is embossed with “Not for sale – promotion use only” on the lower left corner of the back cover. This sleeve is Ex-. The disc is housed in the Poppy stock inner sleeve and the disc is in a nice Ex condition. The promotional material inside is a unique 4-page Mandrake Memorial band biography, Individual promo photos of all the band members, one promo photo with the full band and a picture/letter from the famous Japanese musical conductor Seiji Ozawa. All these are in great shape.  Pretty amazing!
