BALL (HOR-666-CA) MC New 99:-
Pre-order. By popular demand here’s a very limited (100 copies only) cassette tape version (real commercially factory produced) of Ball’s acclaimed debut-album. The groovy ferro analogue cassette tape sound fits this crazy album perfectly. Intensely disturbed, dirty, smut peddling, Swedish slime hardrock-psych-madness from the deepest cesspool of humanity.  Fucked up subhuman fuzz guitars. Depraved, screaming vocals. Gut rumbling bass and caveman drums. A nightmare of revolting sounds. Ball is hardrock from hell. Ball´s debut album is a deranged hard rock tour-de-force that will have you gasping. Parental advisory – inside of the cover features explicit full frontal nudity. Buy at your own risk.

JOANNA BROUK – Healing Music (Hummingbird Productions CH101 US 1981) MC M-/M 300:-
Rare and amazing New Age album in it’s original 1981 self release format: glorious cassette tape.  It’s a needle in the haystack – one of the best of the genre.  “Joanna a California-based composer whose reflective, meditative works were inspired by the sounds of nature. Her self-released cassettes bore titles like Healing and it’s easy to hear why her recordings were embraced by the burgeoning new age movement in the 1980s. However, her drone-based music seems far more in tune with the ideas of avant-garde composers like Robert Ashley or Terry Riley (both of whom Brouk studied with) than the cloying mysticism that new age became associated with as it became more commercial. Many of her compositions seem sparse, concentrating on acoustic instruments like piano or flute, but they contain detailed, hypnotic arrangements which mirror the rhythms of the earth. ”

CYMBELINE – Sixth Image / New York (Green Light Greenlight 42 SW 1971) Ex/Vg++ 990:-

DAISY CHAIN – Straight Or Lame (United International LPS 13001 US 1967) Vg++/Ex- 3300:-
Rare US 1967 femme psych masterpiece of the highest order.  Has an obscure unique and even haunting vibe at times  that non of the other records in the genre even comes close too. I think it’s one of the best for sure sand though it’s been championed for a long time by people with well traveled ears, like Paul M, it still kinda underrated. Don’t miss!  The sleeve looks really good with nice shiny colors and only has some minor ringwear, litte whitening of the seams with a few paper pieces missing on the spine, partly bottom seam split. As always describing it like this makes it sound so much worse than it is. In reality it looks great. The disc has a few hairlines but nothing that effects play. A nice keeper copy of this beautiful album.

EMERALD WEB  – Dragon Wings And Wizard Tales (Stargate AR 4230 US 1979) LP M-/Ex 1000:-
”An early seminal precursor to 1980s electronic new age/minimal synth/relaxation music boom and a welcome feminine take on the genre (critically epitomised shortly after by the likes of Suzanne Ciani) Dragon Wings and Wizard Tales hear the multi-instrumentalist duo combine a broad range of modular synths (as found in similar formation to ambient krautrock records by Klaus Schulze) and the use of the Lyricon wind synth (as favoured by Swiss electronic pioneer Bruno Spoerri). This LP also features seldom heard lead vocals from Kat Epple, an element in their music which later disappeared in favour of non-lingustic spiritual soundscapes and universal tantric electronics.” Slight corner bend lower right includes the insert.

Totally fantastic and rare US 1968 freak out psych monster. Never released commerically on a stock label as far as i know but only as this DJ promo copy. The killer side plays and looks perfect Ex, the flipside has less fidelity as it’s a 6 min plus cut and also have marks and is down to Vg…but it’s the A side that you’re going to cranck anyhow.

Beautiful and legit officially licensed from the artist 180 gram vinyl LP reissue of one of the rarest US psych albums. “The Truth”, recorded in Connecticut 1972, might very well be the ultimate north American acid rock album ever. No hype here just incredible talented music. Everything is absolute perfection, the wailing fuzz guitar, the psychy arrangements, his awesome voice, layers of instruments and well crafted songs. MARY KRSTIC – Break The Chains (Private US 1979) LP M-/M- 1400:-
Well, well, well…finding good and previously unknown and undocumented US 70s LPs just doesn’t really happen any more but….due to the efforts of the heaviest digger here’s an amazing part psychy folk and part ballsy femme hard rock private press and it’s really kinda incredible. Masterminded by the only 17 year old Mary and her heavy backing band. A seriousley solid winner for sure. Small find and I only have this spare copy. The shrinkwrap was opened to check for defects. The inner sleeve was bent in one corner when this record was manufactured, packed and shrinkwrapped back in the 1970s so when opened it had a little tear along where it was folded otherwise M and perfect.

PAT – I Want You (Purple Velvet PV 772 -411-701 US 1978) 7″ Ex 2800:-
Mega bizarre crazy private psych monster unknown! Yes, the record lives up to the hype. Loaded with phased fuzz and Pat going bonkers as god direting the musicians in to psychedelic mayhem. Wow!

PENTANGLE   (TRANS ATLANTIC TRA 162 UK 1968) LP Vg+/Vg++ 400:-
Nice original, original 1st press press with no Shel Talmy credit on label, vinyl is nice clean and shiny but is a bit noisy in spots due to the poor pressing, cover just has amination creases, such a great album.

PANBERS – Vol 1: Kami Cinta Perdamaian (Mesra LP-49 Indonesia 1972) LP Vg+/Ex- 2300:-
Ultimate Indonesian psych LP from 1972. Amazing and unusally great condition on this copy!!! The cover is super clean and has non of the usual writing at all only some slight ringwear and some slight corner bends. The disc is an amazingly Ex condition with clean label and only a few minor scuffs. Such a unusually nice copy of a super rare album that is usually trashed.

RESAN (THE TRIP)

RESAN (Subliminal Sounds) New 160:-
Warehouse find. Just a few copies available of this long sold-out title. Limited edition 500 copies Facsimile exact reissue with a in-depth biography written by The Amazing / Dungen lead guitarist Reine Fiske and previously unpublished photographs.. The colourful and turbulent late 1960’s created a ground for a world-spanning counter-culture and musical phenomenon that swept all over Europe. In Sweden and in Stockholm specifically, the sign of those times gave rise to diverse politics, anarchistic and playful happenings that all intertwined eventually giving birth to a rather small but highly prolific and unique musical scene. Resan (The Trip) was surprisingly released on the Swedish CBS subsidiary label Epic in 1973 and is the rarest of all the major-label releases within the Swedish psychedelic/progressive era. It has been seen as continuation of the legendary Swedish Life album as it features all the former Life band members. The Resan (The Trip) crew all lived together in a hippie commune outside of Stockholm. The album represents a unique and almost hidden part of the most “heady” Stockholm psychedelic-rock-history. The uniqueness and rarity of Resan (The Trip) is in its blissful but at times dark atmosphere. Strong composition with full band electric instrumentation including some stellar fuzz guitars, spacey flutes etc. Pretty much everything you could wish for in a record like this. The album’s rather splintered musical palette is something of a perfect but peculiar mix of preaching hippie-naivety rooted in the psychedelic late 1960´s, though clearly coming of age in the slightly darker 1970´s.

Finnish underground hardrock prog beast with killer guitar leads by Melvin McRae. Same label as mighty Kalevala only Yellow still seams to be very much unknown. Huge fave for me. Slight ringwear and whitening of seams. Slight seam split. Disc is perfect shiny M- except for a hairline that doesn’t affect play.
